Before you call for an appointment, read below to learn about some of the advanced dental services and technology in our Taylor, TX dental office that you may benefit from at your visit.

Intraoral Cameras

Have you ever had trouble following your dentist’s explanations because you couldn’t see what they were talking about? With our intraoral cameras, you’ll no longer be left in the dark. This small device can capture detailed images of your teeth and other oral structures. We can display them on a monitor and show you exactly what we saw during our examination. That way, you’ll always be on the same page as your dentist when the time comes to make important oral health decisions.

All-Digital X-Rays

All-digital X-rays give us a way to see below the gum line so that we can catch cavities, infections, and other dangerous oral health issues that would otherwise be completely hidden. We no longer use slow film X-rays that have to be developed in a dark room; with our digital X-ray machines, we can develop the images we need instantly in much sharper detail. The process on the whole emits 90% less radiation, making it much safer than traditional dental X-rays.

Digital Impression System

Different smiles have differently sized teeth, which is why an impression needs to be taken before we start designing any kind of prosthetic or oral appliance. Taking physical impressions can be messy and uncomfortable, which is why we now use a handheld instrument to scan your teeth instead. Special software combines the data points captured by the scans into a three-dimensional model of your mouth, giving us a precise virtual model of your teeth in just a few minutes.

Cavity Detection System

We need to find any cavities in your mouth as soon as possible so we can stop them from spreading and putting the entire tooth at risk. Our dentists are all highly trained in cavity detection, but we can make the process of finding decay even easier with our cavity detection system, which uses a special light to highlight the areas where the enamel is thinning. This way, we can narrow down the problem areas immediately and start addressing them right away.
